So this is really sad to me.

Am I just a little wrong in thinking that we should leave action movies/comedies/etc... and NOT turn them into musicals? Sometimes I wonder if those on Broadway are going " gee... well since Cats has kinda died out and Les Miserables is really depressing/we shouldn't even depict the French as having redeeming value, we should turn to plots that have no discernible ability as musicals because we are Broadway and we can do anything! I mean Legally Blonde as musical? I understood when we turned Disney movies into musicals, as they were partial musicals ANYWAY, but people have some common sense!!!!

After the failure that was Elton John's musical transformation of the Vampire Lestat (how is this wrong? Let me count the ways.....)

I just hope they don't get Colm Wilkinson to play the Green Goblin.

Sorry about the cartoon below... but it had to be posted.

I've become reacquainted with black metal and Gothic metal as of late, and for some reason it is really sticking. For the first time in a long while I have a connection to music. Something about the sound..... It probably helps that my tuning out of the vocals while studying as increased my reading habits 3 fold!

So HAIL black and Gothic metal. Off to Wacken I shall go!

It's a sad day in broadcasting history.

It is highly disconcerting that while playing Music Quiz on my nano today(which I admittedly have little actual music on as I have focused on the 30g video one I also have) to avoid studying, I could barely guess the songs from there mere 415 songs I have on it. Even for the bands I love.

I shall hang my head in shame now. Or perhaps I should actually get around to listening more attentively......

School is back in session and I already want to go back on vacation.

More stories to come once I pull my head out of musical-deprived ass.
